DAR Handbook
The DAR Handbook describes basic rules for accreditations granted within the DAR till 31 December 2009.
Changes to the DAR Handbook will no longer be made.

Only persons meeting the requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17011 are allowed to be appointed assessors.
Education, knowledge and experience of the assessors shall meet the criteria set out in Annex
DAR-3-EM-06 (43 kB) implementing the standard EN ISO/IEC 17011.
The accreditation bodies represented in the DAR ensure that their assessors are educated and qualified appropriately.
Modules and main fields of the training course or program for assessors are provided in Annex
DAR-3-EM-07 (133 kB).
Assessors are selected and appointed according to the procedures described in Annex
DAR-3-EM-06 (43 kB).
