DAR Handbook
The DAR Handbook describes basic rules for accreditations granted within the DAR till 31 December 2009.
Changes to the DAR Handbook will no longer be made.

For state-run bodies and in the mandatory area, the accreditation and recognition bodies are inspected by the authorities
executing supervising functions.
For private bodies operating in the voluntary area, the DAR keeps and maintains a monitoring system which serves to supervise
and control the compliance with the Rules - set out in
DAR-2-GL-01 (50 kB),
para. 3.2 - for accreditation bodies using the DAR certificate and/or DAR symbol.
